Amazon has published its November 2026 slate for Prime Video in the United States, and the headline is the return of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power for Season 3 on November 11. The month also brings two big Prime Originals, The Greatest on November 4 and Blade Runner 2099 on November 25, plus weekly NFL, NBA and NHL games. If you have been deciding whether to keep or restart a Prime membership for the holidays, November is one of the busiest months on the service in 2026.
What's new in November

Live sports through the month include Thursday Night Football on November 5, 12 and 19 and a Friday game on November 27, NBA on Prime doubleheaders every Friday, and Seattle Kraken hockey games.

Who this matters for
Fantasy and sci-fi fans get the two biggest releases two weeks apart. Rings of Power Season 3 arrives on November 11 and Blade Runner 2099 on November 25, so a single month of membership covers both premieres.

Sports viewers who follow the NFL or NBA will find four Thursday-night-slot football games and eight NBA games listed for November. Amazon lists all games in Eastern Time, so check the start time against your own time zone.
Holiday movie watchers get the November 1 library drop, which is heavy on Christmas titles. That makes Prime Video a reasonable single service for a holiday watch list, alongside the full James Bond collection Amazon announced a day earlier.
What it costs: Prime Video is included with an Amazon Prime membership, which Amazon prices at $14.99 a month or $139 a year in the U.S. Amazon also offers discounted memberships for young adults and qualifying government assistance recipients. The lineup above is for the United States; Amazon says to check your local Amazon site for pricing elsewhere.

Our take
For someone who only subscribes when there is something to watch, November is a sensible month to sign up: Rings of Power Season 3, Blade Runner 2099 and the holiday library all fall within the same 30 days. If you already pay for Prime for shipping, nothing changes except that there is more to watch. If the holiday library is your main draw, our James Bond movies in order guide covers the full 007 collection that arrived on the service a day earlier.
