Top pick
EasySMX
Budget gaming accessory maker known for controllers for Switch, PC and mobile.
EasySMX sells more than a dozen controllers at once, and the product names do not make the differences obvious. An X05 Pro, an X20 Pro and a Dune 8K all work on PC, yet they sit at $35.99, $79.99 and $99.99 on the official store. The S10, S10 Lite and S05 Pro all target Nintendo Switch 2, but only some of them read amiibo. This guide sorts the current lineup by what you actually play on, using the specifications and prices EasySMX lists on its own product pages as of November 2, 2026.

The short answer
- Best budget pick for PC and Steam Deck: EasySMX X05 Pro, $35.99 (a version with a charging dock is also offered).
- Best all-rounder for PC players who want extras: EasySMX X20 Pro, $79.99.
- Best for competitive PC play: EasySMX Dune 8K, $99.99.
- Best full-featured Switch 2 controller: EasySMX S10, $59.99.
- Best cheap Switch 2 controller: EasySMX S10 Lite, $39.99.
- Best Switch 2 controller with a dock in the box: EasySMX S05 Pro, $54.99.
- Best for phones and iPad mini: EasySMX M20, $69.99.

How we picked
This is a research-based roundup, not a hands-on test. Each pick is matched to a use case using the features EasySMX publishes: stick technology (Hall effect or TMR), polling rate, trigger modes, extra buttons, battery size, and which consoles are supported. Where a feature matters for a specific platform, such as Switch 2 wake-up or NFC amiibo support, we only credit it when the official listing names it. If you want deeper detail on one model, our EasySMX Dune 8K review collects independent test results, and our EasySMX shopping guide covers shipping, returns and warranty.
Best budget pick: EasySMX X05 Pro ($35.99)

The X05 Pro is the cheapest way into a current EasySMX controller with drift-resistant sticks. EasySMX lists:
- Hall effect joysticks with a 1000Hz polling rate over the 2.4GHz dongle or a wired connection, and 125Hz to 250Hz over Bluetooth.
- A 2+2 motor layout with what EasySMX calls dual-stage vibration triggers.
- A two-stage trigger lock, so you can shorten trigger travel for shooters.
- Silicone-dampened "quiet" buttons aimed at dorms and late-night play.
- An 8-way microswitch D-pad, a 1000mAh battery, two programmable buttons on top, RGB lighting and turbo.
- 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth and wired modes for PC, Switch, mobile and other handhelds.
Who it suits: PC and Steam Deck players who want a quiet, inexpensive pad and do not need back paddles or a screen. The Bluetooth polling rate is much lower than the dongle rate, so plug in the receiver for PC games where input speed matters.
The older non-Pro X05 is still listed at $29.99. It has Hall effect sticks and triggers and a 750mAh battery, but its listing does not mention the Pro's quiet buttons or trigger lock, so the $6 difference is usually worth paying.
Best all-rounder for PC: EasySMX X20 Pro ($79.99)
The X20 Pro is the model to look at if you want most of the Dune 8K's features at a lower price. According to EasySMX, it includes:
- A 3-in-1 magnetic receiver that works as the 2.4GHz dongle, a magnetic charger and a stand. It can be extended by cable to sit closer to the controller.
- TMR sticks with adjustable tension from 30gf to 90gf.
- Four rumble motors with what EasySMX calls instant-brake circuitry.
- Dual-mode triggers that switch between Hall effect analog travel and microswitch clicks.
- A small on-controller display for settings, battery level and connection mode.
- Six programmable buttons: two mini shoulder buttons, two back buttons and two removable back buttons, plus mechanical ABXY keys.
- 2.4GHz, Bluetooth and USB-C wired connections across PC, Switch, iOS and Android.

Who it suits: players who switch between shooters and racing games, and anyone tired of hunting for a charging cable. Adjustable stick tension is unusual at this price and is the main reason to pick it over the X05 Pro.
Best for competitive PC play: EasySMX Dune 8K ($99.99)

The Dune 8K is EasySMX's flagship PC pad. Its headline feature is an 8000Hz polling rate in both wired and wireless dongle modes. EasySMX also lists TMR joysticks, a customizable display, dual trigger modes (Hall effect for racing, microswitch for shooters), four programmable back buttons, and RGB lighting in the grips and the included charging dock.
Who it suits: PC players who care about the lowest possible input latency and want four back buttons rather than two. If you play mostly on Switch or phone, its strengths go unused. Our full Dune 8K review covers what testers found and whether $99.99 is justified.
Best for Switch 2: EasySMX S10 ($59.99)

The S10 is the most complete Switch 2 controller in the lineup. EasySMX says it supports one-tap console wake-up, a dedicated C button for in-game chat, and built-in NFC for amiibo. It uses ALPS linear motors for HD rumble, which EasySMX describes as the same level as the original Switch. Other listed features:
- TMR sticks with a 1000Hz polling rate.
- Microswitch ABXY buttons with silicone cushioning and enlarged keycaps.
- Swappable circular and cross-shaped D-pads.
- Two programmable back buttons and 6-axis motion control.
- A 1200mAh battery, the largest among the Switch models here.
- Compatibility with Switch 2, Switch, PC, Android and iOS.
Who it suits: Switch 2 owners who want amiibo, HD rumble and wake-up in a single controller. If you are weighing it against Nintendo's own pad, our S10 Lite vs Switch 2 Pro Controller vs 8BitDo Ultimate 2C comparison explains the trade-offs.
Best cheap Switch 2 controller: EasySMX S10 Lite ($39.99)

The S10 Lite keeps the Switch 2 essentials and drops some extras. EasySMX lists native Switch 2 protocol support with one-key wake-up and C-button voice chat, Hall effect sticks, 9-axis motion control, two programmable back buttons, a 1000mAh battery, 4-level adjustable vibration and RGB lighting. It comes in blue and pink.
What it does not list: NFC amiibo support and HD rumble, both of which the S10 has. If you never scan amiibo, the S10 Lite saves $20. Our news report on early S10 Lite reviews summarizes what reviewers said.
Best Switch 2 controller with a dock: EasySMX S05 Pro ($54.99)

The S05 Pro is the newest model here, listed in October 2026. It sits between the two S10 versions:
- TMR sticks, which EasySMX says have a tested lifespan of more than 5 million cycles.
- NFC amiibo support, six-axis motion and one-button wake-up for Switch and Switch 2.
- Silicone-damped quiet buttons and four rumble motors.
- A smart charging dock in the box, a 1000mAh battery rated for up to 20 hours, programmable buttons and RGB lighting.
- 2.4GHz, Bluetooth and USB connections on supported devices.
Who it suits: Switch players who want amiibo and a charging dock but not the S10's HD rumble. It comes in Nebula Blue and Black.
Best for phones and iPad mini: EasySMX M20 ($69.99)

The M20 is a telescoping controller for phones, and EasySMX says it stretches to 215mm, enough for phones up to 8.5 inches and the iPad mini. Its unusual feature is RoSync, a rotating ABXY layout that lets you match Xbox Cloud Gaming or PS Remote Play button positions with a twist. EasySMX also lists Hall effect sticks, a 1000Hz polling rate, mechanical microswitch buttons, dual-mode triggers, two programmable back buttons and turbo. The listed variant is the Type-C version. EasySMX also sells a separate Bluetooth M20 at $59.99 for Android, iPhone and Switch.

Buyer's FAQ
Hall effect or TMR: does it matter? Both use magnets instead of physical contact, which is why EasySMX markets both as drift-resistant. EasySMX describes TMR as offering higher precision and lower power use. For most players either is a large improvement over older potentiometer sticks.
Which EasySMX controllers read amiibo? Of the Switch models above, EasySMX lists NFC amiibo support on the S10 and the S05 Pro. It is not listed on the S10 Lite.
Does polling rate matter on Switch? Polling rate mainly matters on PC, where games can read high-rate input. The 8000Hz figure on the Dune 8K is a PC feature.
Do I need the dongle? For PC, yes if you want the highest polling rate. The X05 Pro, for example, drops to 125Hz to 250Hz over Bluetooth. EasySMX sells replacement receivers for several models if you lose one.
Where should I buy? Buying from easysmx.com gives you the official return and warranty terms described in our EasySMX shopping guide. Compare the price there with major retailers before ordering.
Bottom line
Pick by platform first. On PC, the X05 Pro covers the basics cheaply, the X20 Pro adds adjustable sticks and six extra buttons, and the Dune 8K is for players chasing input speed. On Switch 2, the S10 is the complete package, the S10 Lite is the budget choice without amiibo, and the S05 Pro adds a dock and amiibo for $54.99. For phones and the iPad mini, the M20 is the only model in the current lineup built for that job.
