Gap Factory's sweats section is one of the biggest on the site. On November 4, 2026 the men's sweatshirts and sweatpants page listed 205 results and the women's page listed 428. Most of the hoodies and sweatshirts were marked 60% off their list prices. That's a lot to scroll through, and many styles look nearly the same in the thumbnails, so we read the product pages to see what's actually different: fabric, fit, length and features.

This is a research-based roundup built from Gap Factory's own product pages. We didn't wear-test these pieces, and the prices below are what the site showed on November 4, 2026. Gap Factory prices change often, so check the product page before you buy.

The short list

Most of the list shares the same fleece. Eight of the ten product pages we checked, counting the matching sweatpants below, list 77% cotton and 23% recycled polyester. The real differences are fit, length, neckline and pockets.

Relaxed Gap Logo Zip Hoodie: the most-reviewed everyday zip

With 5,245 ratings on its product page, this was by far the most-reviewed style we looked at. The page describes "soft, comfy fleece," a dropped shoulder, banded cuffs and hem, drawcord ties at the hood, a zip front, kanga pockets and a Gap logo at the front. The fit is "straight, relaxed" and it hits below the hip. It was $27.99 against a $69.99 list price.

This is the safe choice if you want a classic logo zip-up and you're happy with the standard Gap Factory fleece.

Adult Gap Logo Sweatshirt: the lowest price

This classic crewneck was the cheapest top in our list at $15.99, down from $39.99, and it had 2,381 ratings. It's the one pick that doesn't use the recycled-polyester blend. The page lists 58% cotton and 42% polyester, which is more polyester than the others. It's also the only page with full care instructions beyond "machine wash": machine wash cold, tumble dry low.

The fit is "straight, easy" and it hits at the hip, so it's shorter than the hoodies above. It has a crewneck, banded cuffs and hem, and a Gap logo at the front.

Adult VintageSoft Oversized Zip Hoodie: oversized, no front logo listed

If you like the zip hoodie but not the big logo, look at this one. Its product details list the same fleece, dropped shoulder, drawcord hood, zip front and kanga pockets, but no "Gap logo at front" line. It's an oversized fit that hits below the hip. It had 227 ratings and was $27.99, down from $69.99.

Adult Vintage Soft Oversized Gap Mini-Logo Hoodie: small logo, bigger fit

This is a pullover version with an oversized fit, a smaller Gap logo and a single kanga pocket. It hits below the hip. Its markdown was smaller than most of the list. On November 4 it was 40% off at $41.99 against a $69.99 list price, while most of the other picks were 60% off. It had 80 ratings. If the price matters more than the smaller logo, the Relaxed Gap Logo Zip Hoodie costs less.

GapFit Performance Hoodie: for workouts

This is the only pick on the list with stretch. The page lists 70% cotton, 25% recycled polyester and 5% spandex, described as a "breathable fleece knit with stretch." It has a zip front, a hood and on-seam pockets instead of a kanga pocket. The fit is "straight, easy" and it hits at the hip, so it's a bit shorter and less baggy than the relaxed hoodies. It had 658 ratings and was $27.99, down from $69.99.

Choose this one if you want a hoodie for the gym, running errands or travel, where stretch matters more than a heavy, slouchy feel.

A half-zip with a stand collar is easier to layer over a shirt than a hoodie. This one uses the same 77/23 fleece, has a dropped shoulder and banded cuffs and hem, and hits at the hip in a "straight, relaxed fit." It was $25.99, down from $64.99. With only 4 ratings when we checked, there's little customer feedback yet, and the page showed sizes starting at XXS.

This is the logo version of the half-zip. It has a mockneck, a half-zip front and a Gap logo across the front, in the same relaxed fit that hits at the hip. It was marked new and had no reviews yet. It was $27.99, down from $69.99.

Oversized Fleece Hoodie

If you want a roomy pullover without a logo, this one is a good fit. The page lists an oversized silhouette that hits below the hip, long raglan sleeves, a hood and a kanga pocket. It doesn't list drawcords. It was $27.99, down from $69.99, with 5 ratings.

Relaxed Henley Sweatshirt

This is a sweatshirt with a henley button placket and a stand collar, in the same fleece. It's a dressier choice than a logo hoodie. It hits at the hip in a straight, relaxed fit. It was $25.99, down from $64.99, with a single rating when we checked.

A matching bottom: Relaxed French Terry Straight-Leg Sweatpants

Several of these tops are tagged "Matching Set" on the listing pages. If you want a set, the Relaxed French Terry Straight-Leg Sweatpants use French terry rather than fleece, with the same 77/23 cotton and recycled polyester blend. They have a drawcord elastic waist, on-seam pockets and stripes down the sides. The fit is easy through the hip and thigh, with a straight leg and a 30-inch inseam. They were $27.99, down from $69.99.

How to choose

Decide on length first. The product pages use two lengths. "Hits below the hip" covers the relaxed and oversized hoodies. "Hits at the hip" covers the crewneck, the GapFit hoodie and the women's half-zips and henley. If you're tall or want more coverage, start with the below-the-hip styles.

Then pick a fit. "Straight, easy" (the crewneck and GapFit) is the closest to a regular fit. "Straight, relaxed" is a little looser. "Oversized" is meant to be roomy. If you're between sizes in an oversized style, the oversized cut already adds room.

Check the fabric line. Almost everything here is the same 77% cotton and 23% recycled polyester fleece. The crewneck has more polyester, and the GapFit hoodie adds spandex for stretch. If you want a different hand feel, those two are the real alternatives.

Look at the ratings count. Some of the newer women's styles had only a handful of reviews. The men's Relaxed Gap Logo Zip Hoodie and Adult Gap Logo Sweatshirt had thousands. More reviews give you more fit feedback to read before you order.

Watch the discount. Most of these were 60% off on November 4, but the Mini-Logo hoodie was 40% off. Gap Factory runs frequent sitewide sales (see our Gap Factory sale news), so if a style isn't at its usual markdown, it may be worth waiting.
