VEVOR, the home improvement and equipment brand, announced a new chamber vacuum sealer for the U.S. market on October 30, 2026. The machine is built around what VEVOR calls FlavorKeep Technology, a staged vacuum cycle meant to keep sauces and juices away from the seal. We cover the launch itself in our VEVOR FlavorKeep chamber sealer news report.

The new model joins a chamber sealer range that VEVOR already sells on its own site, from compact countertop machines to floor-standing commercial units. This guide explains how chamber sealers differ from the more common edge (external) sealers, walks through four VEVOR models whose specifications we read on vevor.com, covers VEVOR's own advice on choosing a wattage, and sets out VEVOR's return, warranty and shipping terms. It ends with food safety rules that apply to any vacuum sealer. Specifications and prices come from VEVOR's website as read on October 30, 2026, and prices on VEVOR's site change often. We have not tested these machines.

Chamber sealer or edge sealer?

An edge sealer, the kind most home cooks own, sits on the counter and sucks air out of the bag through its open end. That is why it needs textured (embossed) bags, and why liquids are a problem: as air leaves the bag, juice and marinade can be pulled toward the opening and into the machine.

A chamber sealer works differently. The whole bag goes inside a closed chamber, and the pump lowers the pressure in the chamber itself. VEVOR's category page explains the main practical consequence: because suction happens outside the bag rather than through it, chamber units can use cheaper smooth bags, although most also accept embossed bags. Since the pressure inside and outside the bag drops together, chamber machines also cope better with wet foods than edge sealers.

The trade-offs are size, weight and price. The two countertop VEVOR models below weigh 22 kg and 23.9 kg, and the chamber limits how big a bag you can seal.

What VEVOR's new FlavorKeep model adds

VEVOR's announcement describes a three-stage cycle. A "2X Anti-Overflow System" first lowers the pressure in steps so that liquid rises more slowly. The machine then pulls a deeper vacuum: VEVOR says its internal testing reached up to -100 kPa and removed up to 99.85% of air under specified test conditions. Finally it closes the bag with an 8 mm sealing band, which VEVOR says is 33% wider than on its standard models.

The new sealer is sold on VEVOR's site, Amazon and eBay. The announcement did not give a model number or price, so compare the listing with the existing models below before you buy. VEVOR is also showing the machine at a free pop-up at Kemah Boardwalk, Texas, on October 31 and November 1, 2026, from noon to 7 p.m.

Four VEVOR chamber sealers, compared

VEVOR's chamber vacuum sealer category listed eight machines on October 30, 2026, with listed prices from $259.90 to $2,380.90. We read the product pages for four of them, from the smallest countertop design to a dual-chamber commercial unit.

Stainless steel VEVOR chamber vacuum sealer with vacuum-sealed meat and fish

DZ-260A-V1 (countertop). This is the compact entry point. VEVOR lists 260 W of sealing power, a 180 W pump, a vacuum of -100 kPa and an 8 mm wide seal that is 260 mm (10.5 in) long. The chamber measures 440 x 420 x 75 mm and the machine weighs 22 kg with accessories. A built-in gauge shows the pressure. On October 30 the category page listed it at $288.90, with a 4.7-star rating from 1,421 reviews.

YJ-300TV1 (countertop). This model has a stronger 380 W pump rated at 70 L/min and a stated vacuum beyond -95 kPa. The seal is 8 mm wide and 290 mm (11.5 in) long, the chamber is 327 x 310 x 80 mm, and the body is stainless steel with a tempered glass lid. VEVOR lists marinate and jar-vacuum functions, an operating temperature range of 28.4°F to 86°F, and a weight of 23.9 kg. The category page listed it at $386.90, with 4.6 stars from 445 reviews.

DZ-400-2E-V1 (floor-standing). A step into commercial territory, with 900 W of sealing power, a 10 mm seal that is 400 mm (15.7 in) long, and a much deeper 440 x 420 x 200 mm chamber that can take bulky items. It runs on standard U.S. 120 V power and was listed at $855.90.

DZ-600-2S-V1 (dual chamber). The largest of the four is a floor-standing machine with two chambers, so staff can load one side while the other seals. VEVOR lists 1,200 W of sealing power, twin 900 W motors, a 12 mm seal that is 600 mm (23.6 in) long, and a weight of 180.8 kg. It was listed at $2,380.90. It has no plug: VEVOR says it uses an air switch and must be wired following the labels on the cord.

How to choose a wattage

VEVOR's category page groups its machines by power and gives its own guidance for each tier. In summary:

  • 260 W class: the entry level, aimed at households sealing occasionally.
  • 320 W to 380 W class: VEVOR suggests these for households that seal often or small food businesses starting out, with slightly larger chambers and faster cycles.
  • 900 W class: designed for restaurants, butcher shops and food prep companies running several cycles an hour through a full shift.
  • 1,200 W class: for continuous, high-volume packing at food processors and busy commercial kitchens. VEVOR notes that oil-lubricated pumps in this tier often last longer under continuous operation than smaller oil-free units.

Two other specifications matter as much as power. Seal bar length sets the widest bag you can close in one go, so compare it with the bags you already use. Chamber size sets how much you can seal per cycle. VEVOR also points out that a bigger chamber can take a little longer to reach full vacuum than a smaller one at the same wattage.

Returns, warranty and shipping

VEVOR's policy pages set out the terms for U.S. orders placed on vevor.com.

Returns. Items can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery if they are in their original condition. To start a return, you contact VEVOR support with photos. VEVOR says it reviews requests within 24 hours, sends a prepaid FedEx label, and issues the refund within 48 hours of receiving the item. After that, card refunds can take 3 to 15 business days to appear, PayPal 1 to 2 days, Klarna up to 14 days, and Afterpay 3 to 5 days.

Warranty. VEVOR offers 90-day quality assurance for defects and a 12-month warranty with free repair. After the warranty ends, technical support is still free and repairs are paid. At checkout, an optional Protection Plan adds 1, 2 or 3 years of coverage. VEVOR's answers on its product pages say it does not sell parts separately, but will send replacement parts free during the warranty period, except consumables.

Shipping. VEVOR ships free except to some remote areas. Alaska and Hawaii carry per-item surcharges based on weight, from $70 for items up to 22 lb. Standard delivery takes 2 to 6 business days plus 1 to 2 days of processing. Items heavier than 66 lb take about 10 to 15 working days. That applies to the floor-standing models.

Recalls. VEVOR publishes product recall statements on its website and handles recall questions at recalling@vevor.com. It is worth checking that page from time to time if you own VEVOR equipment.

Vacuum sealing safely

A chamber sealer is a packaging tool, not a preservation method. University extension services are consistent on this point.

  • Keep perishables cold. Michigan State University Extension says vacuum packaging does not replace refrigeration, freezing or canning. Foods that need refrigeration still need it after sealing.
  • Watch for botulism risk. Removing oxygen slows spoilage bacteria, but Clostridium botulinum can grow without oxygen and may not change how food looks or smells.
  • Thaw fish out of the bag. Both MSU Extension and the University of Maine Cooperative Extension advise taking frozen fish out of its vacuum package before thawing.
  • Skip some raw foods. MSU Extension notes that sealer manufacturers advise against vacuum packing raw onions, fresh mushrooms and fresh garlic.
  • Use the right setting for wet food. UMaine Extension says excess moisture can stop bags from sealing properly, which is the problem VEVOR's staged cycle is meant to address.

About VEVOR

According to its company page, VEVOR was founded in 2007 and started selling online the same year. It expanded to Amazon in 2013, reached its first 10 million customers in 2022 and passed 30 million customers in 2025. In late 2024 it rebranded with a house-shaped logo, an orange color scheme and the tagline "Affordable. Reliable. Home Improvement." VEVOR products are also sold through other marketplaces, including Walmart and Home Depot, according to the company.

Bottom line

If you seal a lot of meat, fish, marinades or soups, a chamber sealer solves problems an edge sealer cannot, and VEVOR offers one at almost every size. The new FlavorKeep model targets wet food in particular, but VEVOR has not published its price or model number, and its performance figures come from VEVOR's own tests. For most homes, the countertop DZ-260A-V1 and YJ-300TV1 are the relevant comparisons. The floor-standing units only make sense for businesses. Whichever you choose, check the seal length against your bags, factor in the 30-day return window, and keep sealed perishables in the fridge or freezer.
