Its products are expensive enough, and specific enough to US households, that the store policies are worth reading before you order. A bottle washer system can cost several hundred dollars, it runs on US voltage only, and the warranty depends on where you bought it and whether you register. Shipping: costs, speed and where Papablic delivers

Papablic's shipping page opens by promising free standard shipping within the contiguous United States, and the table underneath sets the details. Orders over $25 get free standard shipping (3 to 5 business days) or expedited shipping for $6.99 (2 to 4 business days). Orders under $25 pay $5.99 for standard or $12.99 for expedited. Most of the big-ticket items, such as bottle washers and warmers, are well above that threshold, so the minimum mainly affects small orders like replacement brush heads or detergent tablets.

A few notes from the policy are worth knowing:

• Processing comes first. Delivery estimates do not include a 1 to 3 day processing period after you place the order.
• No expedited shipping to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Who pays for return shipping?

The refund policy says you are responsible for your own return shipping costs, which are non-refundable, and that the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund if Papablic provides the label. It also suggests using a trackable service or shipping insurance for items over $75, because Papablic does not guarantee it will receive the returned item.

What reduces or blocks a refund

According to the policy, only regular-priced items may be refunded, and sale items cannot be refunded. Gift cards and some health and personal care items are non-returnable. Partial refunds can apply to items that are not in their original condition, are damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to Papablic's error, or come back more than 30 days after delivery. Refunds are paid to the original payment method. Papablic says you should receive your refund within 3 to 7 working days after it receives the item, and asks you to contact info@papablic.com once your return shows as delivered to its warehouse.

Gifts and exchanges

If an item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, a return earns a gift credit for its value. If it was not marked as a gift, the refund goes to the gift giver. Papablic only replaces items that are defective or damaged; for an exchange of the same item, you email info@papablic.com for the return address.

Check the box the day it arrives

Papablic asks you to open your parcel and check that everything is included and undamaged. Claims for missing or damaged items must be submitted within 14 days of receiving the order. 3. Another 12 months for families with multiple kids.

That adds up to the "up to 36 months" headline. Within the warranty period, Papablic will repair or replace a defective product free of charge at its discretion; if the exact style is not available, it provides a product of equal value and similar style. The warranty does not cover damage from accidents, improper use or care, or unauthorized modifications. Claims must come from the original purchaser with proof of purchase, and products bought from unauthorized resellers are not covered.

Paying and saving
