ALP
ALP is a US nicotine pouch brand from ALP Supply Co. LLC (Miami), a joint venture of Turning Point Brands and the Tucker Carlson Network, selling nicotine pouch...
Our verdict
ALP is a legitimate, fast-growing US pouch brand with an unusually wide flavor range, a moist pouch format and a well-documented store, but it has no FDA marketing order yet, all sales are final and independent review data is thin, so it suits adult nicotine users who check shipping eligibility first and start with a small pack.
21+ only. WARNING: This product contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical. This review is for adults who already use nicotine. If you don't use nicotine, don't start. Nothing here is health advice, and nicotine pouches are not a quit-smoking aid.
ALP has gone from a pre-order launch in November 2024 to one of the more visible nicotine pouch brands in the US. Its CEO told Reuters in June 2026 that it was the fourth- or fifth-largest US pouch producer, with about 2% of the market. This review looks at what ALP sells, what it costs, how its policies work, how independent reviewers rate it and where it stands with the FDA. It is research-based: we didn't buy or use ALP products. It draws on ALP's official pages, its press releases, news coverage, FDA records and an independent pouch review site, all checked on November 2, 2026.

Who makes ALP
ALP is sold by ALP Supply Co. LLC, a Miami company owned 50/50 by the Tucker Carlson Network and Turning Point Brands. Turning Point is a listed tobacco company that also makes the FRE pouch brand. The launch press release on November 14, 2024 introduced four styles (Chilled Mint, Mountain Wintergreen, Refreshing Chill and Tropical Fruit) in 3mg, 6mg and 9mg. General online sales opened on December 23, 2024.
The brand courts attention. Forbes described the launch as built around Carlson's public persona, and the copy on ALP's own site is loud and jokey. At the same time, its "Why ALP" page says the products are made for adults who already use nicotine. It states: "if nicotine isn't already your thing, don't let ALP be the reason to start." The company says it gives part of its profits to tree planting, the Warrior Dog Foundation and trade-school scholarships through Foster's Outriders.
In July 2026, ALP announced an online launch in the UK and 11 European markets through a separate site, alppouch.eu, along with a marketing partnership with Conor McGregor. The US store at alppouch.com ships only within the US.
The range: flavors and strengths
ALP's selection is one of the widest from any single pouch brand. The independent site PouchRated counts 15 flavors, the most of any brand it tracks. That count was made before Peppermint returned for the holidays.
| Line | Flavors | Strengths | 5-tin price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core | Chilled Mint, Mountain Wintergreen, Refreshing Chill, Tropical Fruit, Sweet Nectar, Spearmint, Classic | 3, 6, 9, 12mg | $26.45 |
| Peppermint (limited) | Peppermint | 3, 6, 9mg | $26.45 |
| Drifters | Island Peach, Blueberry Lemonade Ice, Mango Freeze, Lemon Raspberry, Watermelon Kiwi Ice | 6, 12mg | $27.45 |
| Frontier | Cowboy Coffee, Sunset Mango, Campfire Cinnamon | 4, 8mg | $23.99 |
According to ALP's FAQ, the core pouches focus on moisture. Drifters is "semi-moist" with stronger flavor and a cool, minty finish. Frontier drops the cooling, uses gentler flavors and can feel a little less moist. Every tin holds 20 pouches. The brand also sells nicotine-free caffeine pouches with 50mg of caffeine per pouch in six flavors.

Price and value
A core 5-pack is $26.45, or about $5.29 a tin and about 26 cents a pouch. Larger packs bring that down: about $5.00 a tin in a 20-pack and about $4.76 in a 50-pack. Subscriptions start at 5% off and can go up to 15%. ALP Rewards gives back roughly 5% of spending at the base tier and up to about 12.5% at the top tier.
PouchRated gives ALP 7 out of 10 for value. At about 26 cents a pouch it costs more than some budget brands. Bear in mind that ALP's 20-pouch tin holds more than a classic 15-pouch ZYN can, so compare price per pouch rather than per tin. Our ALP vs ZYN comparison does that math.
Buying experience and policies
Checking out on alppouch.com means passing an age check. AgeChecker.net verifies your name, date of birth and address, and sometimes the last four digits of your SSN, or you can upload a photo ID. Policies worth knowing:
- Shipping: one to three business days to process. Economy shipping is free on orders over $80, otherwise $5.99, with several faster UPS options. Instant Delivery is available in some zones.
- Restrictions: no nicotine pouches to Arkansas, Vermont, Rhode Island or Utah. Only Classic can go to California, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C. There are many county and city restrictions as well.
- Returns: all sales are final. ALP will fix defects and shipping errors, but its pages give different reporting windows (5 business days, 7 days and 30 days), so report problems right away.

What customers and reviewers say
Independent customer review data for ALP is thin. PouchRated noted in its October 2026 update that ALP had no Trustpilot reviews yet, so there is no large third-party review pool to summarize. Here is what is available:
- ALP's own testimonials. The subscription page shows a set of five-star quotes. They praise the moisture ("soft, never dry"), lasting flavor and how well the pouch holds together. A few say they've switched from other brands. The brand picked these quotes to display, so read them as marketing, not a representative sample.
- PouchRated. This independent comparison site gives ALP 7.8 out of 10, its highest method score, and ranks it fifth of 10 brands in its editors' order. It scores flavor range 10, strength range 8, value 7 and regulatory standing 6. Its main criticisms are the price per can and the lack of an FDA marketing order. It also cites trade press noting that a moister pouch can mean a shorter-lasting pouch.
- Market traction. ALP's July 2026 release said the brand reached almost 1% of US convenience-store pouch sales within 90 days of its retail rollout, citing Nielsen data. Reuters, reported by The Independent, put its overall US share at about 2%. These are signs of demand, not satisfaction scores.
FDA status: read this before you buy
The FDA keeps a public list of authorized nicotine pouch products and says those are "the only nicotine pouch products that may be lawfully sold in the United States." As of November 2, 2026, the list has 67 products from ZYN, on! and Velo. No ALP product is on it. PouchRated, citing trade coverage, reports that ALP's application is part of the FDA's nicotine pouch pilot review program, with no decision yet. Even for products that are authorized, the FDA stresses that authorization does not mean a product is safe or "FDA approved."
What this means for you: ALP is sold openly online and in stores while its application is reviewed, but it doesn't have the marketing order that ZYN and some on! and Velo products have. If FDA authorization matters to you, take that into account.
Health and safety notes from ALP itself
ALP's footer states that its products are not for minors, people who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or people with or at risk of heart disease or high blood pressure. It advises anyone with a serious health condition to talk to a healthcare professional first. Keep tins away from children and pets. The FAQ recommends keeping a pouch in for about 30 minutes, not swallowing the pouch, and putting used pouches in the trash.

Who ALP suits
ALP fits adult nicotine users who want a moist pouch, lots of flavor choice and the option to subscribe, and who live where it can ship. If you want an FDA-authorized product, the lowest price per pouch or the ability to return an order, look elsewhere. If you're deciding between lines and strengths, our guide to choosing an ALP strength and flavor line can help.
Verdict
ALP is a legitimate, fast-growing US pouch brand. It stands out for flavor range, a moist pouch format and a well-documented store, but it isn't FDA-authorized yet, all sales are final, and there are few independent reviews so far. It makes sense mainly for adult nicotine users who check their shipping eligibility first and start with a small pack.
