If you have curls, coils or thick waves, It's a 10 sells a whole line built for you: the Coily Miracle collection. It has a shampoo, a leave-in spray, a deep mask, three stylers and a detangling brush, plus several kits that bundle them at a discount. That is a lot of white-and-rose-gold bottles to choose from, and the product pages tend to use the same words ("moisture," "definition," "frizz control") for nearly everything.

This guide sorts the Coily line by job, using the descriptions, sizes and prices listed on itsa10haircare.com in early November 2026. It is research-based: we did not use these products ourselves, so treat it as a map of what each one is meant to do rather than a hands-on ranking. Prices on the brand site change, so check the product page before you buy.

If you only buy one thing, most people should start with the leave-in. It is the line's core product, it comes in the widest range of sizes, and the brand positions it as a replacement for gels or hairspray in many styles. The rest of the line builds around it.

Best overall starting point: Coily Miracle Leave-In

It's a 10 Coily Miracle Leave-In Product in a 4 oz white spray bottle with a rose-gold collar

The Coily Miracle Leave-In is a spray that It's a 10 says "penetrates hair with deep moisturizers to soften and seal strands" while adding "a bit of weightless styling control." The brand pitches it for a wide range of looks: braids without flyaways, soft beach waves, defined springy curls and even straightened hair.

It is sold in three sizes: 2 oz for $18, 4 oz for $26 and 10 oz for $45. The 10 oz bottle works out to $4.50 per ounce versus $6.50 per ounce for the 4 oz, so if you already know you like it, the big bottle is the better value. If you have never tried it, the 2 oz size or one of the kits below is a cheaper way to find out.

How does it compare with the original Miracle Leave-In that made the brand famous? We cover that in detail in our comparison of every Miracle Leave-In version, and we look at the original formula's claims in our Miracle Leave-In review. The short version: the Coily version is the one the brand built specifically for curly, coily and wavy textures.

Best for wash day: Coily Miracle Hydrating Shampoo

It's a 10 Coily Miracle Hydrating Shampoo in a 10 oz white pump bottle

Curly hair often gets drier after washing, so the shampoo matters more than people expect. It's a 10 describes the Coily Miracle Hydrating Shampoo as a "deeply moisturizing formula" whose "rich lather removes buildup to leave hair bouncy without drying it out." The brand also claims better curl definition, less frizz and breakage, and "better defense against humidity" with regular use. Those are the brand's own claims, not independent test results.

It comes in a 10 oz bottle for $29 or a 1 liter bottle for $60. The liter is the better deal per ounce if you wash often or share the bottle with someone else.

Best deep treatment: Coily Miracle Mask

It's a 10 Coily Miracle Hair Mask in a round white 8 oz jar with rose-gold lettering

The Coily Miracle Mask is the line's deep conditioner. The brand calls it a "deep conditioning all-in-one treatment" meant to help avoid damage, restore shine, "soothe stress caused from heat styling," and eliminate tangles.

It has the widest price range in the line: 2 oz for $16, 8 oz for $42 and 17.5 oz for $60. The 17.5 oz jar costs about $3.43 per ounce versus $5.25 per ounce for the 8 oz jar. If you only plan to mask once a week, the 2 oz travel size is a low-risk way to test whether your hair likes it before you commit to a big jar.

Best stylers: curl cream, moisture cream or gelled oil?

This is where most shoppers get confused, because It's a 10 makes three Coily stylers and the descriptions overlap. Here is how they differ, based on the brand's own wording.

Coily Miracle Curl Cream: for definition

It's a 10 Coily Miracle Curl Cream in a white 2 oz squeeze tube

The Curl Cream is the definition product. It's a 10 calls it a "non-greasy, non-hardening styling solution" that gives "definition, shine, and frizz-free control to each and every curl" for a "tamed-yet-touchable effect." The brand says it works on "tightly wound spirals, loose barrel curls, or bouncy ringlets." It is currently listed in one 2 oz size for $16. Choose it if your main goal is clumped, defined curls without a crunchy cast.

Coily Miracle Moisture Cream: for dry or thirsty curls

It's a 10 Coily Miracle Moisture Cream tube on a pink background surrounded by swatches of the white cream

The Moisture Cream is the richer option. The brand says it delivers "the powerful moisture curly hair needs without weighing it down or making hair crunchy," using a "signature mix of plant proteins," and gives "silky definition and touchable hold." It is a 5 oz tube for $28. Choose it if your curls feel dry or rough even after conditioning, or if your hair soaks up product quickly.

Coily Miracle Gelled Oil: for shine and sleek styles

It's a 10 Coily Miracle Gelled Oil in a white 5 oz tube with a rose-gold cap

The Gelled Oil is the shine and control product. It's a 10 says its conditioners "weightlessly coat each strand with sleek definition and a glossy finish," locking frizz out and moisture in. Unlike the creams, the brand pitches it for any style: natural curls, "hot-roller styles," or "pin straight." It costs $21 for 5 oz. Choose it if you switch between curly and heat-styled looks, or if you want more gloss than the creams give.

A simple rule: curl cream for definition, moisture cream for dryness, gelled oil for shine and sleekness. Many people with curly hair layer a leave-in with one styler; the brand does not publish a required order, so start with one product and add only if your hair needs it.

Best tool: Miracle Coily Brush

It's a 10 Miracle Coily Brush with a long navy handle and rows of black detangling bristles

It's a 10 also sells a Coily Brush for $24. The brand describes it as heat resistant, with "extra strong detangling bristles," a "long no-slip handle," and a nylon cushion, and says it can enhance coil definition "on wet or dry hair" and help smooth and defrizz while straightening. If you blow-dry or detangle with a brush, it is the matching tool for the line. If you finger-detangle, you can skip it.

Best way to try the line: the Coily kits

It's a 10 Miracle Coily Trio box with 2 oz travel bottles of the Coily mask, leave-in and curl cream

Because returns are limited (more on that below), the kits are the cheapest way to sample several Coily products. These are the kits listed on itsa10haircare.com, with the "value" figures the brand itself puts on them:

  • Miracle Coily Moisture Duo Kit, $24 (brand-stated $33 value): 2 oz Coily Leave-In and 2 oz Coily Mask. The easiest entry point if you mainly want moisture.
  • Miracle Coily Trio, $29 (brand-stated $49 value): 2 oz Coily Mask, 2 oz Coily Leave-In and 2 oz Coily Curl Cream. Adds the definition step.
  • Miracle Coily Brush Kit, $36.99 (brand-stated $49 value): 4 oz Coily Leave-In plus the Coily Brush.
  • Miracle Coily Trial Kit, $44.99 (brand-stated $69 value): 2 oz Coily Mask, 2 oz Coily Leave-In, 2 oz Coily Curl Cream and 5 oz Coily Gelled Oil. The broadest sample of the line.

Do the math before you assume a kit is a deal. Buying the 2 oz Leave-In ($18) and 2 oz Mask ($16) separately costs $34, so the $24 Duo saves about $10 at current prices. The Trio's three 2 oz items would cost $50 separately, so it saves about $21.

Buyer's FAQ

Is the Coily line only for tightly coiled hair?

No. The brand describes the products for curly and wavy hair in general, and the leave-in is pitched for braids, waves, curls and straightened looks alike. If your hair is fine and wavy rather than thick and curly, though, you may prefer the lighter Miracle Leave-In Lite, which we cover in our leave-in comparison.

Can I return a Coily product if it does not work for my hair?

Probably not. It's a 10's website treats purchases as final sale, with exceptions mainly for damaged, broken or wrong items. We walk through the details in our It's a 10 shopping guide. That is the main reason to start with a 2 oz size or a kit.

Are the packages changing?

Yes. It's a 10 began rolling out new packaging in November 2026, starting at Ulta Beauty, as part of its first full rebrand. The brand site also notes that "packaging may vary" on several Coily products, so the bottle you receive may not match the photos. See our news story on the It's a 10 rebrand.

Should I buy from It's a 10 directly or from Ulta?

Both sell the brand. Buying direct lets you use It's a 10's own rewards program and kits; Ulta has its own points and return rules. Compare the two in our It's a 10 shopping guide and our Ulta Beauty rewards and returns guide before checkout.

Bottom line

For most curly and coily shoppers, the Coily Miracle Leave-In is the product to start with, and the $24 Moisture Duo or $29 Trio is the cheapest way to try it alongside the mask and curl cream. Add the Moisture Cream if your curls stay dry, the Gelled Oil if you want shine or heat-styled looks, and buy the large shampoo, leave-in or mask sizes only once you know your hair responds well.
