It's a 10 Haircare
Miami haircare brand founded by stylist Carolyn Aronson, known for its Miracle Leave-In spray, plus shampoos, masks and styling products.
What this guide covers
It's a 10 Haircare sells its leave-ins, shampoos, masks and styling products both on its own website and through retailers, most visibly Ulta Beauty. As of November 2, 2026, the brand is also in the middle of the biggest packaging change in its 20-year history, so the bottle you get may look different from the photos you have seen before. This guide covers how buying directly from itsa10haircare.com works: the final-sale return policy, shipping charges, damaged-item claims, Subscribe & Save, the Miracle Rewards Club, and when buying from Ulta can make more sense.
Everything below comes from It's a 10's published policy pages, product pages and rewards page, plus the brand's November 2 press release. Policies change, so check the live pages before you place a large order.

The short version
- All sales on itsa10haircare.com are final. The refund policy says the brand does not offer refunds, returns or exchanges on its products because they are personal care items.
- Damaged, defective or wrong items must be reported to info@itsa10haircare.com within 48 hours of receipt, with photos and a screenshot of the order confirmation email.
- Free standard shipping starts at $35. Orders under $35 pay a $5.00 shipping fee; P.O. Box deliveries pay $9.99.
- Address changes are not possible once an order is placed, so check the shipping address before you check out.
- Subscribe & Save takes 10% off recurring orders and can be cancelled at any time.
- Miracle Rewards Club members earn 10 points per $1 spent, and 500 points converts to $5 off.
- New packaging launched at Ulta first. The refreshed It's a 10 packaging debuted exclusively at Ulta Beauty and Ulta.com from November 2, 2026.
Returns: assume you cannot send it back
The refund and return policy is clear: "All sales are FINAL." The brand also says it reserves the right to refuse all returns, reshipments and refunds. That is stricter than many beauty retailers, so it changes how you should shop.
In practice:
- Start with a small size if you are unsure. Many leave-ins come in 2 oz, 4 oz and 10 oz versions. The classic Miracle Leave-In, for example, is $14.00 for 2 oz, $22.00 for 4 oz and $42.00 for 10 oz on the brand site. The 2 oz bottle costs more per ounce, but it limits the cost if the formula does not suit your hair.
- Read the full ingredient list before buying. Each product page shows key ingredients and a full ingredient list, with a note that ingredient lists "may change or vary from time to time" and that the packaging list is the one to check. If you react to fragrance, the brand sells a Fragrance Free version of the Miracle Leave-In (4 oz, $22.00).
- Do not count on exchanges for a different scent or size. The policy says the brand only replaces items that arrive defective or damaged.
The policy page also contains general refund wording about approved returns and partial refunds within 30 days. Read that as the process the brand uses when it approves a return, not as a standard 30-day return window. Its first line still says it does not offer refunds, returns or exchanges.
If something arrives damaged, broken or wrong
Because this is the only real route to a replacement, timing matters:
- Email within 48 hours of delivery: info@itsa10haircare.com.
- Include photos of the problem and a screenshot of your order confirmation email.
- Wrong item: send your order number and a photo of the item you received.
Liquids and aerosols can leak in transit, so open the box on the day it arrives and photograph anything wet or dented before you throw out the packaging.
Shipping costs and limits
The shipping policy sets out these terms:
| Shipping situation | What It's a 10 says |
|---|---|
| Orders of $35.00 or more | Free standard shipping |
| Orders under $35.00 | $5.00 shipping fee |
| P.O. Box delivery | $9.99 fee; free shipping does not apply |
| Outside the continental US | A shipping fee applies |
| Items per order | Limited "to avoid damages or spillage" |
The item limit is worded differently on two pages: the shipping policy says 6 items per order, while the shipping section of the refund policy says 5. If you are buying in bulk, plan on 5 items per order or ask customer service first.
At current prices, two 4 oz Miracle Leave-In bottles ($44.00) clear the $35 threshold, while one 4 oz bottle plus a 2 oz travel size ($36.00) also gets there.
Lost or "delivered" packages
The brand asks customers to check the address on the confirmation email, look around the delivery spot and the mailbox, and wait 48 hours. It notes that packages can show as delivered up to 48 hours before they arrive. If an order is still "In Transit" or has not arrived after more than 15 days, email info@itsa10haircare.com and the brand says it will try to help you file a claim with the carrier. The policy also states that It's a 10 is not responsible for stolen or lost packages or for orders shipped to an incorrect address.
Subscribe & Save
If you use a product steadily, such as a daily leave-in, the "Subscribe & Save 10%" option at checkout takes 10% off the subscription price. By choosing it, you agree that the order will renew automatically and your card will be charged until you cancel. You can cancel at any time by emailing info@itsa10haircare.com or by logging in to your account.
Because one-off purchases are final, a subscription only makes sense once you know a product works for you. Set a reminder before each renewal so you are not charged for bottles you do not need yet.
Miracle Rewards Club: how the points add up
The rewards page lists these ways to earn points:
| Action | Points |
|---|---|
| Every $1 spent | 10 |
| First purchase | 100 |
| Mailing list sign-up | 50 |
| Following on Instagram, Facebook or TikTok | 50 each |
| Birthday | 500 |
| Each successful friend referral | 500 |
Points are redeemed at checkout for fixed discounts:
| Points | Reward |
|---|---|
| 500 | $5 off |
| 1,000 | $10 off |
| 1,500 | $15 off |
| 2,000 | $20 off |
| 3,000 | $30 off |
| 5,000 | $50 off |
The math: at 10 points per $1, every $50 spent earns 500 points, which is worth $5 off. On these published tiers, purchase points work out to roughly 10% back as a future discount. The one-time bonuses (first purchase, sign-ups, birthday) can get a new member to the first 500-point tier sooner.
The referral program gives friends $20 off a first purchase of $100 and gives you 500 points for each successful referral.
The rewards page does not explain how points interact with returns, but since sales are final, that is unlikely to come up.
Buying at Ulta instead
It's a 10 announced on November 2, 2026 that its rebranded packaging is launching exclusively at Ulta Beauty and Ulta.com, alongside new products including the Miracle Styling Foam, Keratin Hair Mask and Volumizing Glaze. Ulta's product pages listed:
- Miracle Styling Foam, 9.0 oz: $22.00
- Keratin Hair Mask, 8.0 oz: $40.00
- Volumizing Glaze, 5.0 oz: $23.00
Ulta's site advertised free shipping on orders of $35 or more when we checked. Ulta has its own returns and loyalty rules, which differ from It's a 10's final-sale policy. If being able to return a product matters to you, compare the two before you buy. Our Ulta Beauty rewards points and returns guide explains how Ulta's program works.

What the rebrand means for your order
According to the press release, It's a 10 has rebranded and repackaged more than 80 SKUs this year. Several product pages on the brand's own site say "Packaging may vary." During the changeover, an order may arrive in old packaging, new packaging, or a mix of both. The brand says the performance of products like the Miracle Leave-In carries forward. If you need a specific formula, match the product name, not the bottle color.
Picking the right product before you pay
Since you cannot return a product that does not suit you, choosing carefully matters more here than usual. Signals from the brand's own pages:
- Fine or short hair: the Miracle Leave-In Lite is described as an ultra-light formula for fine or short hair (4 oz, $22.00).
- Dry, brittle or damaged hair: Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin (4 oz, $24.00) carries the brand's own warning that fragile or highly bleached hair "may snap or break with overuse of Keratin based products."
- Coily or very curly textures: the Coily Miracle Leave-In (4 oz, $26.00) uses avocado oil, coconut oil and shea butter.
- Blonde or highlighted hair: the Miracle Leave-In for Blondes (4 oz, $22.00) has a violet tint to tone brassiness.

Other things worth knowing
- Find a Salon: the site links to a salon finder. It's a 10 describes itself as a professional haircare brand used by stylists.
- Licensed professionals have a separate section on the site.
- Email sign-up: when we checked, the site showed a pop-up offering 10% off a first order for signing up to its emails. Such offers change, so check what the site shows when you shop.
- Customer service for orders goes through info@itsa10haircare.com. Purchases made at other retailers have to go through that retailer's customer service, according to the refund policy.
Bottom line
Buying direct from It's a 10 is simple, but there is no safety net: sales are final, damage claims must be made within 48 hours, and addresses cannot be changed after checkout. Spend $35 to get free shipping, use the Miracle Rewards points (about 10% back on the published tiers), and only start Subscribe & Save once you know a product works for you. If you want the new packaging and new launches first, or prefer a retailer's return policy, Ulta is the other official place to look.
