Böhme Review: Quality, Sizing, Returns and What Customers Say (Research-Based)

Is Böhme worth ordering from? The answer depends on what you buy and how much time you give yourself to return it. Böhme is a Utah women's boutique selling trend-led dresses, denim and knits, mostly priced between $55 and $110. It has stores across the western US and a large online following. This is a research-based review, not a hands-on test. It brings together Böhme's published policies and product details with what thousands of customers have said on Trustpilot, the Better Business Bureau and Reddit. The goal is to show where shoppers tend to be happy, where they run into trouble, and how to shop so you end up in the first group.

The short version

Böhme's appeal is clear. It sells current, wearable women's clothing at mid-range boutique prices. Each product page lists the fabric, lining and stretch, and most include a full measurement table, which many boutiques skip. Free shipping starts at $100, there's a free loyalty program, and you can return in a store if you live near one. The weak spots are just as consistent. • Stretch and lining. "Non-stretch," "slight stretch" or "stretchy," plus "fully lined" or "partially lined."
• A measurement table by size, giving bust, waist and length for dresses, or waist, rise and inseam for jeans.
• Model information, such as height and the size worn.

Böhme's sizing chart also notes that its sizes "may vary item to item" because it stocks many brands. That is the main thing to understand. Trustpilot. Böhme's Trustpilot profile shows a TrustScore of about 3.4 from more than 9,000 reviews. Around 73% are five-star and about 11% are one-star. The score is mixed overall, but most reviewers are clearly happy. Positive reviews often mention fit, style and helpful in-store staff. Negative ones mostly cite slow shipping, items that differ from the photos, uneven quality and return problems.

Better Business Bureau. The BBB lists "Bohme Boutique" in Draper, Utah. It isn't BBB-accredited, and its rating reflects at least one complaint the business didn't respond to. A BBB rating measures how a company handles complaints, not how good its products are, but it does show where friction comes up.

Reddit. Threads in r/FrugalFemaleFashion, r/ClothingShopReviews and r/PetiteFashionAdvice are mixed. Some posters who shop in Böhme stores like the fit and quality. Others who ordered online describe thin fabrics on certain pieces, sizing that changes between items, or waiting longer than expected for a parcel. Several also ask whether an Instagram or TikTok ad for "Böhme" is legitimate.

A note on lookalike sellers. Some complaints describe a "Böhme" that ships from overseas or from Toronto. Böhme's official site says US orders ship from its warehouse in Draper, Utah through OSM Worldwide and USPS. If a listing or ad doesn't lead to bohme.com or a Böhme store, be careful. Shipping and returns: where the complaints come from

Most negative reviews of Böhme are about logistics, not clothes, so the policies matter. In short:

• Shipping: free on orders over $100. Orders take 2–5 business days to process, and the warehouse doesn't process orders on weekends. Delivery then takes 2–9 business days. Expedited orders placed before 12pm MST ship by UPS the same day.
• Return window: 21 days from the fulfillment date, not the delivery date.
• Return fee: $8.99 is taken from domestic refunds when you use Böhme's label. There's no fee if you take store credit, return in a store, or use Happy Returns where available.
• Final sale: clearance, items marked final sale, all jewelry and accessories, bodysuits and intimates can't be returned.
• Refund timing: Böhme processes refunds within 15 business days of receiving the return, and your bank can take up to 10 more.
• Condition: worn, washed, scented or stained items are refused. Shoes need their original box, and some problems with returned shoes or packaging can lead to a deduction of up to 20%.
• Defects: report them within 48 hours of delivery, with a photo.

Read together, these rules explain a lot of the one-star reviews. Suppose a parcel takes a week to process and a week to arrive. By then about half the 21-day window has gone.
